You have traveled from your hometown to the small town of Burrgtown, a city within the continent of Iceburrgh. You decide to pay a visit to the Humbleville Tavern.
After convening at the tavern, the group departs to explore various guild stalls in Burrgtown. During their excursion, they are approached by Boroh, who imparts a quest entailing the investigation of Frezhjen, the guardian dragon of Burrgtown. Boroh alleges that an adventuring party he had dispatched for the same purpose has gone missing and offers a reward to the party for their assistance.
While en route to Frezhjen's Lair, the party encounters Zxozyn Stardawn, a young girl who has fallen victim to theft by Goblin Miscreants. She asks the party to retrieve her belongings, and suggests that the goblins are hiding in the J'klorbem Extraction Site, an old and abandoned Iceburrgian mineshaft.
As they journey to the site, the party discovers a Comet Fragmentation stuck in a sandbar in Wulvenan Creek. Their efforts to remove it fail, causing it to break. Nevertheless, they continued to the extraction site and found a large cluster of comet crystals. When they touch the crystals, they are suddenly transported to a strange place between dimensions... and although the experience is confusing, they eventually return to the cave with a sketch of a mysterious map they found there.
Continuing their exploration of the cavern, the party uncovers some old loot chests, snatching the gold and valuable items held within. Further on, they break through a caved-in section of the site, finding a strange, dormant Amethyst Dragon Egg, covered in Shadowfell Grass. They quickly run out of the area when a Phase Choldrith threatens to eat them.
Finally, the party arrives face-to-face with a group of Goblin Mercenaries. They deceive one goblin into going to the area with the phase choldrith, where he is eaten alive. This (obviously) upsets the mercenaries, and they attack, placing the party into battle!
After the confrontation with the Goblin Mercenaries, the party emerged victorious, overcoming the goblin threat with strategic prowess and determination. With the goblins defeated, the adventurers set their sights on the larger quest at hand and ventured through the snowy trails leading to Frezhjen's lair, the guardian dragon of Burrgtown.
Upon arriving at the lair, the party discovered a grim scene: Frezhjen was not the looming threat they had anticipated, but instead a victim herself. A group of Chordosian Cultists had taken the mighty dragon hostage, using dark magic to bind and weaken her. At the heart of this nefarious operation was a powerful mage, responsible for cursing Frezhjen and bending her will to the cult's sinister purposes.
Without hesitation, the party engaged the cultists in a fierce battle. Their courage and might shone through as they cut down the cultists, paving the way to confront the mage. In a climactic struggle, the party managed to slay the mage, breaking the curse that held Frezhjen in thrall.
Freed from the curse, Frezhjen transformed back into her true form—a majestic and powerful dragon. With gratitude and renewed strength, she unleashed her fury upon the remaining cultists, swiftly defeating them and purging her lair of their corruption.
The party's bravery and intervention not only saved Frezhjen but also saved Burrgtown from a hidden threat. Their actions earned them the dragon's respect and gratitude, forging an unlikely alliance between the adventurers and the guardian dragon of Burrgtown.
Boroh, who had originally tasked the adventurers with investigating the guardian dragon of Burrgtown, made his way to Frezhjen's lair to meet with the party. His arrival was timely, and his purpose, significant.
Boroh revealed to the party a deeper layer of intrigue and responsibility that extended far beyond the town of Burrgtown. He extended an invitation to the adventurers to join the Oregenian Order, an ancient and secret organization dedicated to maintaining peace and order across Eradox. The Oregenian Order, as Boroh explained, was comprised of individuals and groups committed to thwarting threats that could disrupt the delicate balance of power and peace in the realm.
Joining the Oregenian Order would mean access to resources, information, and allies that could aid the party in their future endeavors. It would also place them at the heart of Eradox's most critical events, entrusted with missions that could shape the future of the world.
After the previous events, the party accompanied Boroh to the Snowlands Comet Lab in Burrgtown. It was there that the true nature of their invitation was revealed: in order to join the Oregenian Order, they would first need to prove their worth through a test. Accepting the challenge, the party stepped through a portal, transporting them to a realm eerily similar to the dimension they had encountered previously. However, this realm held its own unique trials.
The test was twofold: combat against monsters and the solving of a seemingly simple puzzle. The party's determination, strength, and intellect were put to the test as they navigated these challenges. Luckily, they emerged victorious, unlocking a door that led to an unexpected location—the Oregenian Order Complex, situated on Lanu, one of Eradox's moons.
The revelation that the Oregenian Order's headquarters resides on one of the moons showed the organization's significance and the scale of their operations. The successful completion of the test and the subsequent arrival at the Order's complex marked the beginning of a new chapter in life for the party members. Now, as part of the Order, they stood ready to embark on missions of even greater importance, with the peace and stability of Eradox hanging in the balance.
Their induction into the Order not only signified their growing rcapabilities but also hinted at the vast and intricate world of Eradox, filled with wonders and dangers far beyond their wildest imaginations. As they acclimated to their new roles and the extraordinary environment of Lanu, the adventurers prepared for the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead, their bonds strengthened and their resolve unwavering.
Boroh, acting as their guide and mentor within the Order, introduced the newly inducted members to the Purple Squad (comprising Infen Adox, Tim Thethird, Bottle Clink, Zxara, and Mystyc), an esteemed and veteran adventuring group known throughout the Order for their remarkable achievements and contributions to the peacekeeping efforts across Eradox.
Boroh attempted to take the party on a tour before being interrupted by a strange horse, in the shape of a rock, who had appeared out of a portal.
The formality and welcome into The Order took an unexpected turn with the appearance of a rock-shaped horse, an anomaly that caught the party by surprise. Rather than delving into the potential mysteries this creature might hold, they opted for a pragmatic approach—picking it up and taking it with them, perhaps as a peculiar souvenir of their ongoing adventures or as a token of the unpredictable nature of their journey.
Before the party could fully engage with the members of the Purple Squad and immerse themselves in the Order's complex, another unforeseen event occurred: yet another gate suddenly opened, spitting out a group of random travelers into their midst. This sudden influx of strangers, as confused themselves as the party was, added to the chaos and confusion of the moment.
Faced with these unexpected developments and the realization that their introduction to the Oregenian Order was veering off course, the party, along with the newly arrived travelers, decided to retreat to the familiarity and comfort of Burrgtown. The consensus was clear: amidst the confusion and the need for clarity, what they sought most was the solace of good food and a moment to gather their thoughts.
Thus, the party's first foray as members of the Oregenian Order concluded not with the expected exploration of their new roles and the complex's secrets, but with a collective decision to seek refuge in the simplicity of Burrgtown's hospitality. This detour, while unexpected, offered the party and the new travelers a chance to bond over their shared confusion and the universal appeal of a good meal, setting the stage for further adventures and perhaps, in time, a deeper understanding of the mysteries that had so abruptly been thrust upon them.
The party, along with the new adventurers, visited the Humbleville Tavern yet again, relaxing, eating, and resting before traveling back into the world in the morning.
The Emerald Squad helped some Burrgians on Valence Road, a phase spider attacked, and you stole from Goey.
Emerald Squad managed to defeat the phase spider, and use a riftkey to get back to Burrgtown, claiming first-class citizenship as their reward.
Emerald Squad bought a Riftkey from the Explorer's Guild booth in Burrgtown. They tried to visit Aurelia, but it turns out that they ended up trapped between planes, hopping from several different realities and causing quite the time.
After a confusing drift through several places, the party returned to Burrgtown and was informed by Umteh that the Chordosians are planning on invading Burrgtown. They walk outside to see that Purple Squad was also informed of this.
