Both Emerald Squad and Purple Squad are informed of a possible attack on Burrgtown. Not much happens until they rest at Tim's House. As soon as they wake up, they hear explosions and run outside to see that both Chordosian and Aykayonic cultists have attacked Burrgtown.
The newfound party attempts to defeat the cult, but is overpowered when Aykayoh is summoned, creating a massive aura of cataclysm around him, destroying and killing everything in its path.
The parties quickly retreat to the Comet Nexus.
The party comes up with a plan to get revenge on Burrgtown. They utilize Tim's ability to pull frogs out of his ears that open portals to his house, as well as one of the Comet Guardian's teleportation ability to break back into Burrgtown, which is now in ruins.
Ari plays a very intense game of Ichi (uno) with Aykayoh and wins, angering him and causing him to annihilate Jimmy. This angers Tim, who attempts to pick up his hammer, but drops it, causing the hammer to activate its emergency power and summon Geocleus, the God of Earth.
Geocleus then attacks Aykayoh using Banishment. As soon as everyone thinks everything will okay, Geocleus notices that Clink and Tim have the mark of Shozu, which angers him as he believes Shozu to be a traitor.
Geocleus steals the Comet Nexus Riftkey from Clink's bag, realizing that celestials have been talking to mortals on the moon. He then destroys the moon in response.
As the party watches the entirety of the moon shatter into pieces, a blue-green portal with an hourglass rune opens, and out comes Lucina, Aspect of Chrono, who claims that their timeline wasn't supposed to happen and that they must pay for their crimes.
The party is brought to the Chronobridge, a place at the center of Time. Several other variants of the party and various other characters also inhibit the Chronobridge at this time.
Clink, Zeo, Ari, Zangretor, and Tim are sent off to various different timelines and locations to prune variants in the timeline that they inherently caused.
Tim was left behind during the second mission, claiming that he had a bit of a stomache ache.
During one of these trips, the party is tricked by Rhyna Umberstorm, a Chordosian Cultist who happens to be able to open a strange form of portal that allows her to visit alternate realities temporarily.
The party is tricked into going with Rhyna to the edge of the Chordosphere bubble, where she nearly kills Clink and Zeo by using their souls to open a cut through the bubble. The four of them are sent in as test subjects, perhaps being one of the only few people to ever see the space in-between inner Chordosphere and the rest of the world. They fight Chaotic Horrors, a strange amalgamate of pure chaos, as well as a strange hand-demon-creature-thing.
Towards the end of the encounter, Tim and Hoggoh are teleported inside of the bubble, as sent by Lucina.
(Oh and Tim apparently jumped off the Chronobridge before this, where he spent an entire month in a hellish version of Burrgtown, which somehow changed his class from Rogue to being a multiclass Bard/Barbarian)
Tim helps the squad defeat the strange creatures before a portal back to the Chronobridge is opened. The 5 of them (and Hoggoh) head through the portal to meet their friends and apologize to Lucina. However, just as Lucina begins to congratulate them for accidentally fixing their mistakes, a portal, similar to ones opened by Rhyna, opens just a few feet away from everyone else.
A long forgotten and presumed dead deity known as Reverkhon steps out of this portal. Reverkhon is the God of Distortion and a Child of Chordos. Reverkhon then casts a wave of distortion across the area before vanishing. This wave of distortion causes the obsidian bridge underneath everyone to collapse, causing the party to fall into the unknown.
The party arrives in a strange mash-up of various places from their pasts. Luckily, there are some chests around which they loot before jumping into a strange portal in the center of this messed-up landscape.
This portal leads to...
The party arrives in The Abyss, after a fall that felt like an eternity. Surprisingly, they feel as if they had only hopped down just a few feet in terms of the pain that was caused from the fall.
They find a pool of water, along with a river of a strange ink-alchohol-oil mixture.
The party travels through 3 levels of the Abyss, solving different puzzles and meeting new people. The party encounters Ooranous and Nyutra, two of the Forgotten Gods.
The party stubles upon a layer with a puzzle attached, guided by Shadow Demons. The demons force the party to solve their riddles and puzzles before opening a portal to Emurall Village, a settlement in The Abyss.
The party traveles throughout the city, upgrading gear, using the fabricator to craft new items, and talking to the inhabitants.
The party learns that Kryssa, a tiefling, plans on stealing a rocket from an Aerkhan in order escape The Abyss.
The party sleeps at the tavern before waking up 8 hours later to steal the rocket along with Kryssa.
The party goes invisible before entering the Shipyard.
The party hijacks a rocket and escapes into Voidspace, fighting Tesseract Guardians before venturing into Hyperspace.
The party fights 2 Hyperspace Dragons before befriending them, the dragons claim they will help the party fight Chrono.
The rocket takes a pitstop and restores its weapon systems and shields.
The rocket ventures into Chronospace and avoids detection by drones.
The party reaches the Chronobridge and is greeted by an Ancient Era Dragon. They convince the dragon to allow them to enter the Chronobridge.
The party enters the Chronobridge, and is stopped by Lucina when they try to enter Chrono's Chamber. Lucina cries and claims that she cannot NOT fight them, and must protect Chrono at all costs. After being defeated, Lucina manages to break free from Chrono's grasp and escape the Chronobridge.
The party proceeds into Chrono's chamber, where they are greeted by the Titan Chrono himself. He sends the party to the beginning of the Chronobridge, forcing them to fight mirror copies of themselves, which each damage him greatly.
After the party defeats the copies of themselves, they fight Phase 2 of Chrono, but they don't fight alone. Jimmy (Merged with Ooranous) and Infen (Merged with Nyutra) immerge from a Distortion Portal and join in the fight. Chrono summons more Era Dragons to attack the party, but Jimmy and Infen handle them.
The party manages to defeat Phase 2 of Chrono, causing everyone to level up, while also forcing him into his last-ditch effort to stop him, moving him into Phase 3 ands increasing his health to over 2,500 hit points. Luckily, Infen uses the Aerdak Slate that Zangretor has in order to open another Distortion Portal, of which more of the Forgotten Gods immerge from. Mekagul; Deity of Dark Energy, Immera; Deity of Gravity, and Ampheria; Goddess of Hyperspace join in on the fight. (Note that for a brief moment, the Essence of Time was exposed)
After a long battle, the party forces Chrono to surrender, who allows the party to return to the Comet Nexus, not before sending a strange message to the other Celestials.
Once the party returns to the Comet Nexus, they are greeted by several deities, who have decided to join the Oregenian Order's fight to stop Chordos, for good. The likes of Aekore, Shozu, Pyraven, Obsorh, and the harmonic trinity join in on the fight. Each of the deities leaves to recruit a large number of their followers in order to assist in the fight:
850,000 Warriors from Shadowfell
165,000 Loyal Iceburgians
80,000 Volcarinthe Sentinels
5,000 Hunters' Guild Members
12,500 Healers from Great Sakuria
300,000 Spiders from Gloomforest
Finally, Obsorh uses the Comet Shards (which have now all been collected thanks to Pyraven and Ampheria) to make a wish. She wishes that every power that a deity, god, or eternal once had be returned to them. This gives many gods their powers back that were stolen or nullified by Chordos, along with weakening him. As a thank you for everything the party has done, she increases their levels by 1.
The party has made it back to the Comet Nexus after their time in The Abyss and The Chronobridge.
Upon arrival, several high-ranking officials and even a few Gods are waiting. While the party was gone, Chordosphere's corruption had began to start leaking out and spreading at a rapid rate. In turn, the Oregenian Order paniced and quickly aquired the remaining Comet Shards in order to use them to open a gateway through the barrier in order to put a stop to Chordos for good.
The Comet Shards, finally re-united, brought the attention of the Essence of Oregen, a powerful and enigmatic entity that is capable of granting a singular wish once every eon. Obsorh, the Titan of Energy, used this wish to restore the powers of deities that Chordos had previously taken. The wish seems to have worked, but there may be further issues regarding the phrasing of the wish itself.
Eventually, the party decided to leave and set on their journey for Chordosphere- but WAIT!
Ari finally decided to break a spell that he had put on Zeo, which had previously wiped his memories from the events that happened during the Chordosian Zero Day. Serveral horrible memories, including Ari murdering Zeo's best friend, rushed back to Zeo. This in turn gave Zeo his full consciousness back, but at the cost of potential hatred towards Ari, not to mention all of the trauma due to the horrific events.
However, because Ari did this, it also removed any last bit of the Chordosian Contract from his soul. Ari's appearnce was magically transformed, all of the red and darker tones of him were replaced with blue and bright tones, signaling his complete harmonization and freedom.
ANYWAYS... The party FINALLY left the Comet Nexus and headed to BarrierBreak, an outpost just outside the barrier into Chordosphere. From here, they battled through all sorts of Chordosians, Scarlet Comet Cultists, and other monstrosities.
They stumbled upon the ruins of an old Yerelinian village, where a Chordosian Citizen and his daughter were hiding. The party used one of their riftkeys in order to help them seek asylum in Ionia.
The party then ventured further, until reaching The Barrier, where Shozu and the Children of Harmony were waiting, along with Infen, Frezjhen, Mazoga, and Jimmy, who had just arrived. The party had to fight of a swarm of Glumbugs and Cultists before Shozu was able to harmonize the barrier, allowing for an entrance.
Upon walking into the now open barrier, the party had to fight through the Storm of Insanity, where they fought several Chaotic Horrors and a Distortion Dragon, before finally popping out on the other side, only to be met with an ARMY of Chordosians. Luckily, Infen, Jimmy, and not to mention, AN ENTIRE AMRY of Sakurians and Iceburrgians!
The party escaped on Frezhjen's back as the armies fought. Frezjhen flew over miles and miles of forest and corruption before arriving at the Xeraith Outpost, which had been setup on a previous expedition by the Oregenian Order.
Here, the party would rest until the next day. Frezjhen would set off to align a riftkey to the center of Verkan, one of 3 main cities. The party and the armies of Sakuria and Iceburrgh were set to attack the city and destroy the citadel aiding in stabilizing the bubble.
However, while the majority of the party was asleep... Ari, Zeo, and Clink would journey into the forests near the outpost, only to stumble upon the exact location of the first encounter between Ari and Zeo.
Zeo mourned the death of his friend, Ari was traumatized and full of regret, and Clink just watched, slowly realizing what had happened.
While mourning the death, a portal to the Ethereal Plane was opened from the strong emotions of Zeo and Ari. They would enter this portal to meet several spirits of both Chordosian and Sakurian guards, who reassured Zeo and Ari that it would be okay and that it is not their fault, before they all slowly faded away into Aethorru.
The party woke up and quickly prepared for the invasion of Verkan.
After a large battle between the allied Sakurian & Iceburgian armies and the Verkan Armies, both sides suffered large losses. The party managed to destroy the citadel powering the Comet Core.
The party made their way into lower Khaokrown, where they would defeat Rhyna and save the Chordosians there from her wrath.
The party traveled through a portal in Rhyna's dungeon into the basement of Khastle Khaokrown, from there, they made their way to the central citadel where they would begin their fight with Chordos.
The party fought some guards, fought Chordos, traveled into his very core being, fought memories, killed Chordos. Nothing at all bad happened.
